Elected to the Hall of Fame 2014

Just the other day three managers and three players were elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Their names are Bobby Cox, Tony La Russa, and Joe Torre. The players were Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, and Frank Thomas. I don't know any of those players or managers. My dad thought that Edgar Martinez should have made it because his favorite team is the Seattle Mariners. My favorite team is the Minnesota Twins. My favorite player is Joe Mauer. I'm not sure if he will make it into the HOF some day. Players need 75% of the votes to get into the HOF. One player named Craig Biggio was only .2% away from getting in. I think he deserved to get in. 

We looked online and found out that there are 45 MLB players born on the same day as me. One of them made it to the HOF and six of them played for the Minnesota Twins.

Starz

Yesterday I went to Starz - a restaurant in Sioux Falls with my mom and dad. When we sat down we saw a poster with a bunch of baseball players. One of them was wearing the same cap that we are going to bring to the Baseball Hall of Fame. They gave me baseball cards at the restaurant for free. I ate mac 'n cheese nuggets and french fries and cheese curds.

Hey! My name is Cayden and this is my first blog. I hope you like it. I'm doing a blog because my family is going to NY in May. We have a hat that we are going to bring to the Baseball Hall of Fame. This is the hat and it belonged to Vern Bickford.
